I would like to create a very long timelapse during one year outside (a landscape). Lab Firmware includes a Timelapse option, I believe. My question is about power autonomy : I only need to take pictures (not video), 3 ou 4 /day. Is ti possible ? How long can a battery last in that mode (with capture photos) ? Take out the battery and have the camera powered by the cable. Never tried it but I'd imagine you'd just keep swapping out external power banks. In the 5-10 seconds it takes to disconnect one and plug in a fresh one, the internal Gopro battery would just take over and keep it powered.
